  The CPVO has decided to hold a seminar in Bulgaria (Sofia), which will focus on the enforcement of plant variety rights. Participants from a number of countries in the region will be invited such as Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Turkey, Croatia and FYROM

  Hortifair 2008 - The CPVO will present Community plant breeders’ rights at HORTI FAIR 2008 on a “House of Varieties” shared with Naktuinbouw (NL). The stand is placed in the Park hall number 08.0409.
  
• 7th October Roelofarendsveen (NL)
  The CPVO will organise an open day on Community plant variety rights (CPVR) for stakeholders in the vegetable sector, on Tuesday 7 October at the premises of Naktuinbouw (NL). The day is intended to inform vegetable seed breeders/companies, their representatives and other interested parties on the application procedure for CPVR, the relationship with national listing systems in the EU, as well as to discuss various topical issues in the vegetable sector. Pertinent field visits to the DUS trials are also planned. A detailed invitation/agenda on the day’s proceedings can be found here.
