The following projects have been co-financed by the CPVO :

  1. Literature study: Status quo of the knowledge on phytoplasma with the focus on Euphorbia pulcherrima and other ornamental plants.
  2. Research project on the impact of phytoplasma strains on the phenotypical expression of poinsettia varieties.
  3. Study of the possibility of using isoenzyme markers for assessment of distinctness, uniformity and stability in Calluna vulgaris L.
  4. Harmonization of resistance tests to diseases of vegetable crops in the European Union.
  5. Creation of a common Maize Data Base for DUS studies through a partnership between Spain, Germany, France and the CPVO.
  6. Construction of an integrated microsatellite and key morphological characteristic database of potato varieties in the EU Common Catalogue
  7. A European reference collection of rose varieties.
  8. Co-financing of reference collections of ornamental species (Chrysanthemums and Dahlias).
  9. Management of winter oilseed rape reference collection.

  • A European reference collection of rose varieties.

    • Final report:

      Report prepared in relation to the rose database project 2004-2006 by Dr. Ben Vosman of Plant Research International B.V., the Netherlands, in 2006. The project partners are Plant Research International, NL; NIAB, UK and Bundessortenamt, DE.
      The research project was co-financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of the Netherlands; DEFRA, United Kingdom; Bundessortenamt, Germany and the CPVO.
